Bethlehem's Organist-Choirmaster
Ms. Elizabeth Lucas, RSCM, joined the church staff in 1987, and currently serves as Organist, Choirmaster and Director of the Handbell Choir. Ms. Lucas conducts the vocal choirs and the handbell choir on a regular basis at Bethlehem, and she conducts our chamber instrumental group formed by members at Christmastime. A smaller instrumental ensemble accompanies the service at Easter time.
Ms. Lucas has a particular passion for handbells that began during her college years. Currently she is active with handbell repertoire as a ringer, director, teacher and clinician, and is the founder of a local nonprofit handbell choir.
