Bethlehem Church Staff
Rev. Jessica L. Shields, Senior Pastor
Rev. Shields began at Bethlehem in August 2007 when she accepted her first call as an ordained minister. She is a graduate of Trinity Seminary, Columbus, OH, and is a native of Rockford, IL. Her undergraduate degree was completed at Ball State University, Muncie, IN.
Ms. Elizabeth Lucas, RSCM, Organist-Choirmaster
Ms. Lucas joined the staff in 1987, and currently serves as Organist, Choirmaster and Director of the Handbell Choir.
Rev. Robert Hanson, Visitation Pastor
After eight years of service to the congregation by ministering to sick and shut in members, as well as by conducting a weekly book study, Pastor Hanson submitted a letter of retirement, effective December 31, 2010. Prior to joining the Bethlehem staff he was senior pastor at the former First English Lutheran Church, of Cleveland Heights.
